As another school term comes to an end, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything our children have achieved over the past few months. It’s been a term filled with hard work, perseverance and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
From the very first day of the term, our students have shown incredible determination in the classroom. They have embraced new challenges, worked hard to improve their reading, writing and maths, and continued to grow in confidence with every lesson. Watching their progress has been one of the greatest rewards for our team, teachers and supporters.
Beyond the classroom, our children have continued to thrive through sport, library sessions and extracurricular activities. Whether representing Akwaaba on the football pitch or netball court, discovering a love of reading in our library, or simply building friendships and learning important life skills, they have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm.
This term also marked an important milestone for our Year 9 students, who completed their BECE examinations after months of dedication and preparation. We are incredibly proud of each of them and can’t wait to celebrate their results later this year.
With the school year now complete, it’s time for a well-earned summer holiday. While our children enjoy spending time with their families and taking a break from the classroom, many will continue learning through our holiday programme at the Akwaaba Library, where we’ll be running reading clubs, creative activities, IT sessions and sports throughout the break.
