We were delighted to welcome our first summer volunteer, Coco, to Akwaaba!
Since arriving in Ghana, Coco has fully embraced the experience, spending time at our projects supporting the children, joining in with sports and activities, and immersing herself in Ghanaian culture.
One of the highlights of her trip was travelling to Northern Ghana, where she had the unforgettable opportunity to see elephants in their natural habitat—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
