Shadowing doctors in one of Accra’s largest hospitals, you’ll have the chance to experience a variety of hospital wards each week, based on your level of experience and areas of interest. The doctor you’ll be working with will guide you through different aspects of Western medicine and provide valuable insights into healthcare practices in West Africa.
Duration: 2 – 12 weeks
HEALTHCARE OPPORTUNITIES
These placements are available in several settings, including:
- Clinics providing essential care to local communities.
- Local community outreach, where you’ll work with local schools, community centers and home visits for people who might struggle to reach a hospital
