Booking Your Volunteering Experience
If you’re ready to book or enquire about your volunteering experience with Akwaaba Volunteers, here’s what you need to do:
- Contact Us: Get in touch via email to let us know which volunteering project you’d like to get involved with, as detailed on our Volunteer page. We will then send you all the information you need before you travel to Ghana.
- Pay a Deposit: To secure your place, a £100 deposit per person is required. This deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel your trip, but it is flexible should you need to change your dates, provided there is space available in the volunteer house. Dates can be adjusted up until 3 months prior to your start date.
- Payment Schedule:
- Your deposit is due no later than 1 month after your placement is confirmed.
- The final balance is due 2 months prior to your arrival.
- Alternatively, you can pay the full amount at the time of booking.

Payment
We prefer to process payments via electronic banking for efficiency and security. Details will be provided upon booking.
